"Your words were found and I ate them. And Your words became a joy to me and the happiness of my heart. For I have been called by Your name, O Lord God of All."
Jeremiah 15:16

I really love this verse, I feel very identified with this Bible verse, lately I've found the Bible like a treasure to my life and it has become more important than my college (I'm not studying something easy it's chemical engineering), every day I arrive early to my school and before my homework I go to the library and I carry my Bible with me and I read it, then if I have time I do my hw, but every day the Bible has become a really important part of my life, I feel I can not have a day without reading it.

I hope all of you have the same feeling about the Bible :)

I feel the same way about the Bible, lately I've been reading it so much. Before I would have to force myself to read even a bit of it, but I've been doing it like I can't get enough. I've been ignoring my schoolwork because I've been reading about God's word more than studying, but the amazing part is, is that I got my progress report a few day ago, and all of my grades were above 95.
That just tells you something wonderful about God, right there. ;3;

This is our God! He is awesome and against our logic we think study less = bad grades, but with God it's not like that.
He is our helper and He never leave us alone! :w00t:

Yeah that's a tough course you have. I can relate, without Jesus and His words of encouragement, it would be difficult to get through college or it would have been easy to give up. That is really great that you discipline yourself to always take time in reading His word, the advantage you get from doing that is tremendous! :D
For me nowadays I'm trying to re-discipline myself to get back to reading God's word and because I wasn't too disciplined, oh man the difficulty level I'm facing towards going through college (without His word) is high. It's like going to war without strength.

That's right, in fact when I started the college I wanted to give up and it was not because of the difficulty, it was because all the negative comments I heard about the teachers (they are mean, etc.), but now I know I can handle it with the help of God, so I know what it feels like what you say, I didn't use to read the Bible constantly, but I found that reading the Bible slowly and studying it makes it really interesting. :D

That's really great! Recently I'm learning and enjoying to read and literally 'feast' upon God's word.. Like what Ptr. Joshua Harris used to call it.. "chewing" and enjoying the word just like you would on good food. I'm getting it now. :D
Sorry for the aged reply. ^^; I've been pretty preoccupied lately and haven't been on dA a lot. God bless you my friend! Keep on for Jesus! :w00t:

Hahaha no problem for the reply, the important thing is replying, better late than never xD
I'm also understanding what is to "chew" the word as the Ptr. said, I used to read like a common book the Bible, but now I relized that reading it slowly and meditating in it (and obvioulsly praying before reading) has helped me to have a better understanding of it.
God bless you as well! :D
